Description
xWTB Silverado Cromoly Rail saddle delivers iconic speed-focused comfort with a flat, position-friendly platform built for everything from XC laps to all-day trail missions.
The WTB Silverado is one of those saddles that just works. Slim, light, and fast-looking, it has earned its place as one of WTB's most iconic shapes by nailing the balance between performance and all-day comfort. The long, tapered nose gives you plenty of real estate to slide forward on punishing climbs, while the flat platform means you can shift positions without thinking twice. This is a saddle that disappears under you, and that is exactly the point.
The Cromoly rail version hits a sweet spot in the lineup. Cromoly steel is lighter than standard steel but tougher than carbon when things go sideways, making it a smart, confidence-inspiring choice for riders who actually ride hard. At 265g, it won't win any weight-weenie contests, but it will outlast plenty of pricier options on the trail. WTB's Flex-Tuned shell and HLX padding keep things comfortable without piling on unnecessary squish.
The Silverado suits a wide range of riding styles, from XC race loops to gravel adventures to enduro-paced trail days. Available in narrow (135mm) and medium (142mm) widths, it plays well with standard seatpost clamps and dropper posts alike. If you have been riding the same beat-up saddle for years and wondering what you are missing, this is a solid place to start.
Why You'll Like It
Trail riders who like to move around on the bike get a lot out of the Silverado's long, flat platform, which makes it easy to shift forward on climbs or sit back for technical descents. The Cromoly rails give you a real-world durability advantage over carbon without a painful weight penalty, so you can ride with confidence and not baby your setup. Whether you are logging big days in the saddle or ripping quick laps, this thing just gets out of the way and lets you ride.
