The TRP EVO PRO HD-M9040 is the brake that World Cup downhill athletes helped build, and it shows. Developed with direct input from top-level DH racers, this 4-piston hydraulic disc brake takes everything great about TRP's legendary DH-R EVO platform and cranks it up a notch with more power, more adjustability, and a completely redesigned lever. It is purpose-built for the 2.3mm rotor standard, with increased caliper clearance that keeps things running clean and consistent lap after lap.
At the heart of the EVO PRO is a forged and CNC-polished high-flow caliper packing four hybrid pistons, paired with a stiff 5.0mm hydraulic hose optimized for internal routing and maximum pressure transfer. The new lever brings two tool-free adjustments: a reach adjuster for dialing in blade position to your hand size, and TRP's Pad Activation Dial (PAD) for fine-tuning the bite point exactly where you want it. It is the kind of setup that lets you forget about your brakes and just ride.
The Silver/Grey colorway looks sharp on any build, and the clean cockpit routing keeps things tidy whether you run internal or external cables. Comes pre-bled and ready to go, so setup is as painless as it gets. Note: this listing is for the left lever and caliper only, and is optimized for use with TRP's 2.3mm rotors, sold separately.
