The TRP EVO PRO HD-M9040 is a race-grade 4-piston hydraulic disc brake built specifically for riders who push hard on steep terrain and need their brakes to keep up. Developed with direct input from World Cup DH athletes, every detail of the EVO PRO was refined to deliver more bite, better modulation, and serious heat resistance compared to the already-beloved DH-R EVO. This right-hand unit is engineered exclusively for TRP's industry-leading 2.3mm thick rotors, which stay truer under sustained braking and dissipate heat faster than the standard 1.8mm rotors found on competing systems.
The caliper is a forged and CNC'd high-flow unit with 4 hybrid pistons and increased rotor clearance, paired with a stiff 5.0mm hydraulic hose optimized for internal routing and improved hydraulic pressure transfer. The updated master cylinder features a Pad Activation Dial (PAD) for on-the-fly modulation tuning, and a lever reach adjuster lets you dial in blade position to your exact hand size. High-performance resin pads come stock with better heat stability and a shorter bed-in process, so you're not wasting laps getting them dialed.
Setup is dead simple. TRP ships the brake pre-bled with 1900mm of hose ready to cut to length, complete with the barb, olive, and compression nut. Whether you're racing enduro stages, sessioning bike park lines, or hauling an eMTB down a long mountain descent, the EVO PRO is built to hold its composure where other brakes start fading.

Our returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Apparels and shoes are not eligible for returns once they have been shipped out. We only accept returns if the item is eligible for a warranty claim or if the wrong item has been shipped to you. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
