Description
xLock in your cockpit and stop losing time to a stem that flexes when you need it to hold.
When you're deep in a rowdy descent, the last thing you want is slop between your hands and your front wheel. The Race Face Turbine R 35 Stem is built to keep that connection as direct as possible, with a stiff 35mm clamp interface that kills the unwanted flex you'd get from a lighter-duty piece. The result is steering that actually goes where you point it, even when the trail gets chunky.
The zero-degree rise keeps your bar position low and committed, which translates to a centered, aggressive stance that inspires confidence on steeper terrain. Paired with the stout construction Race Face has built their reputation on, this stem doesn't ask you to choose between light and strong. Riders consistently note that it simply disappears on the bike, which is exactly what a stem should do.
The short length adds snappy, responsive handling that enduro and trail riders live for. Whether you're threading through tight switchbacks or holding a line through blown-out corners, less stem means faster input and quicker corrections when you need them most.
Why You'll Like It
Rail into a switchback at pace and feel your front wheel track exactly where you aimed it, not a beat behind, not a millimeter off. That's the payoff of a stiff 35mm platform on a stem that's been dialed by riders who actually race this stuff. If you're running a 35mm bar and want a stem tough enough to match it without adding dead weight to your front end, this is the piece that ties the whole cockpit together.
Key Features
- 35mm bar clamp interface eliminates the flex that costs you precision on fast, technical trails
- Zero-degree rise keeps your weight centered and low, giving you a confident, planted feel on steep descents
- Short length delivers quick, reactive steering so you can make corrections mid-corner without fighting the bike
- Race Face's proven construction means this stem handles the repeated punishment of trail and enduro riding without creaking or failing when you need it most
- Lightweight alloy build shaves grams off your front end without sacrificing the rigidity that makes aggressive riding feel controlled
