The SRAM XX Eagle T-Type XS-1297 is the cassette that sits at the heart of SRAM's flagship Eagle Transmission system. The 10-52t, 12-speed range gives riders a huge 520% gear spread, and SRAM rethought the low-end progression here. The addition of 38t and 44t cogs between the big 52 and the rest of the cluster means smoother, more intuitive steps exactly where you need them most on steep, technical terrain. Less extreme chain angles across the whole range also means better longevity and precision over time.
Construction is serious business. The cluster runs a hardened tool steel X-Dome machined design, with stamped steel 38t and 44t cogs pinned to a lighter aluminum 12th gear cog. The cassette interfaces directly with the matching XX Eagle derailleur for perfect alignment on any frame. Setup is dead simple thanks to a clearly marked Setup Cog, so you spend less time wrenching and more time riding.
