The SRAM GX Eagle XS-1275 T-Type cassette is the workhorse of SRAM's Eagle Transmission lineup, bringing next-level shifting tech to riders who want serious performance without moving up to XX or X0 pricing. At the heart of the system is a full X-SYNC design, meaning the harder you stomp on the pedals, the cleaner and more precise the shifts get. Gears 1 through 8 use a Pindome construction, while gears 9 through 12 are a single-piece mini-cluster, giving you the right mix of durability and efficient power transfer across all 12 speeds.
The 10-52t range covers a whopping 520% gear spread, and SRAM refined the low-end progression with larger 38t and 44t cogs before the 52t monster, making those big jumps feel smoother than previous Eagle cassettes. The 55mm chainline keeps chain angles moderate across the full range, which translates to less wear and more consistent shifting whether you're on the 10t screaming a descent or crawling up a brutally steep kicker. Nickel plating rounds things out with a quiet, durable finish that holds up to real-world abuse.
This cassette is part of SRAM's integrated Eagle Transmission system, where the cassette and derailleur interface directly for perfect alignment on any frame. Note that it is T-Type specific and requires an XD driver body, so it won't play nice with older Eagle AXS or mechanical Eagle derailleurs. Installation is refreshingly simple thanks to a clearly marked Setup Cog. E-bike approved, too.
