xÖhlins RXF36 m.2 TTX18 Air brings race-proven downhill damping technology to your 27.5 trail and enduro adventures in a light, tunable 170mm package.
Öhlins took the TTX18 twin-tube damper cartridge straight from their DH38 downhill race fork and reworked it for the RXF36 m.2, putting World Cup-calibre damping in a trail and enduro package. The 18mm piston delivers plush small-bump sensitivity without sacrificing the mid-stroke support you need when things get rowdy, and the increased damping pressure bandwidth means more consistent performance lap after lap on the roughest terrain you can find.
The 170mm travel 27.5 version is built for riders who want a snappy, nimble feel with serious capability underfoot. The three-chamber air spring system lets you dial progression from the initial stroke all the way through to bottom-out, and because the spring is cartridge-based, swapping to a coil setup down the road is straightforward. Adjustability is deep but accessible: 15 clicks of low-speed compression and rebound, three clicks of high-speed compression, a climb mode, and all of it tool-free via clicker dials.
The chassis is clean, solid, and purposeful. 36mm stanchions, 15x110mm Boost spacing, and tire clearance up to 27.5x2.8 mean this fork fits right in on modern aggressive trail and enduro builds. The yellow Öhlins branding is a nice reminder that this is not just another fork.
