Born from the legendary mud pits of Les Gets, France, this is Maxxis' most specialized, most conditions-specific tire, built with one job in mind: finding traction where none should exist. It's a competition-only mud spike, and it wears that badge proudly.
The 3C MaxxGrip compound is the stickiest rubber Maxxis makes, the same stuff trusted by World Cup DH and Enduro World Series athletes when the race is on the line. Paired with a burly dual-ply DH casing featuring a butyl-protected sidewall, the Wetscream shrugs off the kind of abuse a proper race run dishes out. The tubeless-ready setup lets you drop pressures for an even bigger contact patch when the mud gets deep and the grip gets scarce.
Those tall, widely spaced, sharp square knobs aren't just for looks.
