xEnduro ACB 3645 3344 SS delivers premium 440C stainless steel angular contact performance built to laugh off mud, rain, sweat, and everything the trail throws at your headset.
Not all stainless steel is created equal, and Enduro Bearings built the ACB 3645 3344 SS to prove it. This 1-1/8 angular contact headset bearing uses 440C stainless steel balls and races throughout, which sits at the top of the 440-series lineup with the highest strength, hardness, and wear resistance of the bunch. It takes special heat treatment and cryogenic treatment to get there, but the result is a bearing that shrugs off corrosion in the kind of conditions that chew through lesser hardware.
The angular contact design means all the balls stay engaged under load, spreading force evenly across the bearing instead of piling it onto just a few contact points. Enduro pairs that with the largest balls possible, dual-lip LLB-type seals running in a micro-groove labyrinth, and Almagard 3752 grease packed in at 90% fill. That combination keeps water, mud, and sports drink out and keeps you rolling smooth for the long haul. At just 20g and a static load rating of 935lbf / 4.15kN, this bearing punches well above its weight.
