The e*thirteen Base Composite Pedal is the kind of flat pedal that punches well above its weight class. Built around the same 22-pin layout that made e13's LG1 downhill pedals famous, the Base delivers that same biting traction in a durable glass fibre and nylon composite body that shrugs off rock strikes and hides scratches like a champ. The 100x110mm platform is generously sized, slightly concave, and locks your foot in place without feeling like a bear trap.
Under the hood, an inboard bushing and outboard bearing system rides on a forged chromoly steel axle, keeping things spinning smoothly ride after ride. The slim profile deflects rocks rather than collecting them, and the 6mm steel pins grip hard while still leaving room to reposition your foot when the trail gets weird. Shorter 4mm replacement pins are included if you want to dial things back a notch.
